Peer Groups

PIM offers a variety of councils and committees that provide members with opportunities to learn and network with their peers in the industry, locally and nationally. Currently Financial Executives, Small Printers,  Human Resources and Young Professionals meet on a regular basis locally. Nationally find Special Interest Groups through Printing Industries of America. Also available are segment specific list serves, providing electronic communications to peers locally and nationally.

 

Young Professionals

The PIM Young Professionals Group is for member’s employees age 25-40, providing opportunities for networking and personal development with like-minded professionals. Participants will also have the opportunity  to learn more about PIM and how our association provides value to its members.

Meeting quarterly, Young Professionals gather for company tours and luncheons, philanthropic adventures, networking happy hours, and combine with other PIM events such as the Olive Club.

Small Printers

The Small Printer Business Group is for members whose business make $5 million in sales or less.  Join this group to discuss issues that all Small Printers face and share solutions.

Meeting the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:30 – 8:30 am at the PIM offices.

Human Resources Council

Co-Chairs:  Lisa Fahey, Graphic Finishing Service and Jackie Schouvieller, Johnson/Anderson

The PIM HR Council meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month, from 8:30 – 10:30 am. Topics cover the entire scope of Human Resources interests which may include guest speakers, peer to peer round table discussions, or panels of experts in the subject matter. Meetings are free and open to anyone at a member’s company, and are offered remotely through our web conferencing capabilities.

A national list serve, an email communication tool providing access to hundreds of HR peers across the country is available. This great resource can provide advice and guidance on everyday issues, sharing of sample policies and job descriptions, and much more.

For those times when an inquiry is more appropriately regionally based, use the PIM HR list serve.

 

Financial Executives Council
