Internships Provide Students Experience in the Industry with Grant Reimbursement

Summer Internship 2017 – Minnesota
(Grant Submitted – Members will be notified once awarded, or check back, weekly – hope to hear by mid-March 2017)

Printing Industry Midwest and the Pohlad Family Foundation announce their partnership for the 10th year, offering Summer Internship grant opportunities for members located in Minnesota. This year PIM will be allowed 80 Interns, and  member companies are once again allowed up to two interns. Details about the program may be found in the Student Internship Program brochure.

Are you a Minnesota PIM Member who wishes to provide students an opportunity to learn about all of the aspects of the printing industry?  Sign up to participate in the Minnesota Internship Program; submission instructions are on the form. PIM works with high schools throughout Minnesota, and can assist businesses in identifying the appropriate high schools and colleges in your area. Contact PIM for names of prospective interns. If you are a business in Minneapolis, St. Paul, Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn Center, Bloomington or Roseville, you can work with AchieveMpls, HIRED, and Tree Trust to find your intern.

Are you a high school student between 16 and 21? Complete an application for a summer internship. Instructions for returning the application are on the form; include a resume if available.  Note: completing this application does not mean the student is guaranteed a position in the PIM-Pohlad Summer Internship Program; rather this information will be shared with PIM members desiring an intern. These companies may contact the applicant for an interview. PIM recommends all application information is easy to read and accurate. PIM encourages submission be received no later than May 15th.
