MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Printing Industry Midwest (PIM), the not-for-profit trade organization representing the Midwest’s leading print service providers, announced pre-registration of nearly 300 teachers to its annual Paper Drive, scheduled for Saturday, September 20. For over forty years, PIM members have donated surplus paper for the PIM Paper Drive to support the needs of teachers from schools across the Midwest region.

Like last year, an anticipated 400+ teachers are expected to arrive at host Lindenmeyr Monroe’s plant in Fridley, MN, prepared to load paper, and lots of it, into their, cars, trucks, U-Hauls, trailers, and vans.  Assisted by volunteers from Lindenmeyr Munroe, PIM staff supports the assembled teachers in meeting any paper shortfalls they may face, ensuring the effective delivery of their programs in the coming 2019-2020 school year.

“It seems that each year, the PIM Paper Drive takes on even greater importance, as paper resources for teachers continues to decline,” said PIM President, Steve Bonoff. “Paper continues to play a critical role in ensuring our children receive the most effective education possible. We thank everyone who makes this phenomenal event possible.”

In addition to host Lindenmyer Monroe, the following companies have donated to the upcoming Paper Drive; Anchor Paper Company, The Bernard Group, Carlson Print Group, Daily Printing, Inc., GLS Companies, Graphic Design, Inc., Honsa – Binder Printing, Inc., IWCO Direct, Japs-Olson Company, Larkin Industries, Nahan Printing, Pioneer Paper Stock Co., Printing Services – U of M, Studio on Fire, and Wilcox Paper LLC.
