Printing Industry Essentials Training Graduates Two for its Second Class Session

Printing Industry Essentials, our regions 1st print-specific pre-employment training program, celebrated its most recent training completion on February 24th, at Avivo’s Training Facility in Minneapolis. This training course is funded by a Minneapolis Pathways Grant and was awarded to Printing Industry Midwest’s (PIM) community partners Avivo & Goodwill/EasterSeals.  This grant assists Minneapolis Residences in finding paths leading to the print industry.

As a part of this grant, Minnesota PIM Members are addressing the candidates and telling them how great it is in the Print Industry and that this opportunity can lead to a lifetime career.

Two tours were planned for this second group of trainees, where they were able to see the inner workings of the printing industry and received some great information from leaders in Print.

Trainees will transition and start working with their Program Navigator from Goodwill/EasterSeals Emmanuel Muhozi, who will assist in their job search.  For anyone intested in interviewing the graduates – contact Emmanuel at emuhozi@gesmn.org

Tours were provided by LSC Communications & Japs Olson.

The next session will start March 2nd.
