Two New Dates for PIM Event

Printing Industry Midwest (PIM)  is taking all the necessary precautions when it comes to our upcoming events. Below are two events that have been rescheduled. We will be diligent in keeping you all appraised of changes. We thank you for your continued patience and appreciate your support!

  • Star Awards Banquet moved to August 25, 2020 (same time & location)
  • Young Professionals (YP) at Inbound BrewCo moved to September 17, 2020 (same time & location)

PIM’s Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Update

In these unprecedented times, employee health and safety training is more important now than it ever has been. Two things to keep in mind – 

  1. If you find yourself with a little more down time, now is your chance to complete your REQUIRED training. Remember that OSHA has not slowed down or reduced enforcement. Right to Know training is required for every printer. Some states, such as Minnesota, require Right to Know training annually. Learn More.       
  2. To help stop the spread of COVID-19, Minnesota implemented new requirements for all businesses. Every business must establish a “COVID-19 Preparedness Plan”. Learn More.

COVID-19 Media Statement from United States Postal Service (USPS)

April 2, 2020 – The United States Postal Service (USPS) continues to follow the strategies and measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and public health departments. Importantly, the CDC, the World Health Organization, as well as the Surgeon General have indicated that there is currently no evidence that COVID-19 is being spread through the mail.
