This factsheet provides a brief history of worksite raids, discusses the agencies involved and the legal authorities relied upon by these agencies to conduct them, reviews legal challenges and issues related to worksite raids, and briefly summarizes the economic and humanitarian consequences of these raids.
Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Resources
This overview highlights resources to support employer awareness and preparedness regarding immigration enforcement. Organizations should consult qualified legal counsel for guidance specific to their circumstances. Regularly reviewing trusted resources and preparedness materials can help employers anticipate potential challenges, implement effective mitigation strategies and respond confidently and proactively.
Littler Law Webinar: ICE Encounters – Raids, Audits and Warrants ITS Webinar
PIM member, Littler Law, hosted a webinar and here is how you can access it. This webinar will cover the three principal ways that employers may encounter ICE – raids, administrative warrants, and I-9 audits – the differences between the three, and a plan of action for each, including preparation and response. We will discuss the background of these actions, what may cause these actions, and how Trump 2.0 is altering how they are used on employers. Finally, the webinar will conclude with discussing the costs of violations.

How To Locate Someone In Ice Custody:
Finding someone who has been detained by ICE or CBP can be difficult. This National Immigration Law Center guide has a variety of options to try: How to Find a Loved One After a U.S. Immigration Arrest – NILC. This will often require persistence over a few days, as detainees may not appear in the ICE detainee locator while they are in transit, and we have seen many people from Minnesota be transferred to Texas in recent days.
