PIM Paper Drive
For forty-eight years, Printing Industry Midwest (PIM) has proudly supported educators by providing them with paper materials entirely free of charge.
Each year, PIM calls on its members to identify and donate obsolete, overstocked, or surplus paper from their warehouses to generous give to local classrooms. Donations are delivered to Lindenmeyr Munroe where, for the fifth consecutive year, their dedicated staff has volunteered their time and resources to set out the paper for teachers and help the event run smoothly.
Teachers are given a two-hour window to gather as much paper as they need—and they make the most of every minute. Many arrive with extra help, bringing spouses, friends, or family members to assist in loading carts, wagons, and dollies of paper. They leave with their vehicles fully packed with materials that will directly support their classrooms.
PIM extends its deepest thanks to Lindenmeyr Munroe, all participating members for their continued generosity. And to the teachers—thank you for your tireless dedication to educating and inspiring the next generation.

On September 19, 2026, PIM proudly celebrated our 48th Annual Paper Drive! Thanks to the generosity of our community, approximately 375 teachers received free paper to help equip their students for a successful school year. Printing Industry Midwest (PIM) looks forward to continuing this longstanding tradition in 2027 and for years to come. Once a date is set for our next Paper Drive, event information and registration details will be posted here.
Member Drop Off – TBD – Fall 2027 – Throughout the year, please save your obsolete, overstock, or leftover paper to be donate to teachers and schools across Minnesota. White & colored copier paper, full-sized sheets (every size, weight, and color), pressure-sensitive sheets, large format, foam core, envelopes, even butt rolls will be hauled away. Any leftover paper will be recycled after the event.
Teacher Pick Up – TBD – Fall 2027 – Printers from around the state are donating their surplus paper to you, Midwest teachers and schools. Please come collect as much FREE paper as you need for your classroom or school. We strongly advise arriving at the beginning of the event. Materials are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Most of the paper is typically exhausted within the first hour of the event. You are welcome to come arrive after the start but the selection of paper might be limited.
