This two-day Printing Industry Midwest (PIM) course helps mail professionals navigate today’s increasingly complex postal landscape. Participants gain a practical understanding of USPS regulations, mailpiece design, and automation—key factors in achieving maximum postal discounts and faster delivery. The course covers how mail is processed, how design impacts postage costs, and how to avoid costly mistakes.

Upon completion, attendees take an exam to earn a two-year Certified Mail Preparation Specialist certification from Mailer’s Hub and Postal 911 (not affiliated with the USPS). Taught by industry expert George Heinrich, this course is ideal for anyone involved in mailpiece design, production, or postage management who wants to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and build credibility with customers and the Postal Service.
