Cheers to 70 Years: PIM Celebrates a Milestone in 2026

In 2026, Printing Industry Midwest (PIM) proudly celebrates 70 years of serving and strengthening the print industry. This milestone marks seven decades of advocacy, innovation, and collaboration on behalf of our members and we are just getting started.

Since our founding, PIM has served as a collective voice for the printing and graphic communications industry, representing member companies through government advocacy, sharing critical industry research and data, and fostering meaningful connections through events, peer groups, and education. Together, we have navigated change, embraced innovation, and elevated the value of print across the Midwest.

As we honor our past, we are equally focused on the future. The next chapter of PIM is smart, sustainable, specialized, and seamlessly connected designed to support our members as the industry continues to evolve. One thing remains certain: print is not going away, and neither are we.

Be sure to watch for our January edition of The Loupe, where we will share more highlights from PIM’s history and the people who helped shape our journey.

Thank you to Kaylen Wieneke of Panther located in Sioux Fall, SD, for creating the front cover of the January The Loupe issue. A special thank you to Karen Hoffbeck of Shapco Printing for her outstanding creative contributions. Karen not only designed the beautiful front cover for PIM’s Print Buyers Guide & Membership Directory, but also created PIM’s 70th Anniversary celebration logo. We truly appreciate both Kaylen’s and Karen’s talent and support in helping commemorate this milestone.

As we celebrate this anniversary, we invite you to be part of our legacy by making a financial contribution to PIM. Your donation helps ensure we can continue to provide valuable programs, industry resources, and events that support the future of print for generations to come.

Every gift, no matter the size, makes an impact. By donating, you are investing in the people, innovation, and growth that keep our industry and PIM strong. You can send your donation to PIM on this page or by mailing a check to PIM’s Office (8011 34th Avenue S., Ste. 150, Bloomington, MN 55425), please include “PIM’s 70th Anniversary Donate” in the memo line of the check. You can donate as an individual or on behalf of your company. We will be acknowledging donations by adding your name or company to this page.

Thank you to our members, partners, and supporters for being part of this legacy. Join us in celebrating 70 years of PIM and the future we are building together.
