Grant Money Available From MPCA

MPCA is seeking proposals for projects that aim to reduce air emissions by upgrading equipment and processes that will reduce air pollution.

Funding Available

Approximately $110,000 in funding is available. The maximum grant award is $24,500 per applicant. The grant recipient must match at least 25% of the total project cost.

Air Pollution Affects Everyone

Every day, Minnesotans around the state breathe air pollution from facility processes. Exposure to these pollutants affects everyone’s health, from employees at the facility to members of the surrounding community.

Small Businesses Can Do A Lot To Reduce Air Pollution

Businesses recognize the merits of reducing VOC’s voluntarily. One example is switching to aqueous-based cleaners. Some PIM Members and Great Green Printers have reduced their VOC emissions by 92% by switching to aqueous cleaners.
