PIM DE&I Resource – Gaggle Mail Listserv

What is Gaggle Mail?

Gaggle Mail is a modern replacement for Listservs that streamlines the experience for users and makes it easier for you to manage email discussion lists. With an easy-to-use interface, simple setup, zero maintenance, reliable email delivery and a user experience you and your members will love, Gaggle Mail is the superior choice for running an email discussion group today.

It is a “listserv”, meaning everyone subscribed to the service is able to send to and receive messages from members of the group. At times this can result in a high volume of emails going back and forth. You have the option to receive the messages as they come in or elect to receive a daily digest of messages exchanged. Current PIM Diversity Coalition members and the main contact of Printing Industry Midwest’s (PIM) DE&I program participants are included in this listserv.

What kinds of messages might be sent?

Any Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) related topic. A PIM DE&I program participant might send a message asking other group members questions such as: What training platforms have you found successful?  How have you set up your first committee meeting? How have you handled X topic with employee? They also a good way to share information. If you read a great article or work with a helpful consultant, share your resources here too.

How do I send a message?

We urge you to also make an account at Gaggle Mail | Super Simple Listserv™ Replacement. When you get to the home page, at the top right of the page click the “Sign In” button if you are already using Gaggle or click the “Sign Up” button if you are new. Send your question or resource to PIM DE&I email address (ask Kristin & Sadie for the email address). Your email will be circulated to the other members of the group and they will have the option to respond with their feedback.
